Our Story
Patriotic AdVANtures was founded in 2007 by John LeVering, a former Navy officer with an MBA from the University of Maryland. After years of serving his country, John saw an opportunity to continue serving his community—by providing reliable, affordable transportation for commuters in the Northern Virginia and DC metro area.
What started as a small operation has grown into a trusted vanpool service with 39 active routes and a fleet of 45 well-maintained vehicles. Through it all, we've stayed true to our roots: building personal relationships, offering flexible service, and creating a genuine community among our riders.
We're a veteran-owned, community-focused business that treats every rider like family. Always available and flexible to support your commuting needs, we strive to provide a strong community environment where everyone on the van supports the best commute possible.
